Ruthe!! She's our beautiful, spunky, water-loving girl! She's also quite a little warrior... Ruthe was born with a couple congenital heart defects (CHD) that have so far required three open-heart surgeries to help repair. She also has a chromosome defect called 22q11.2 deletion syndrome (22q for short!) that caused her heart defect, a cleft palate, and some significant feeding issues and speech development. She may end up having a few more challenges because of the 22q, but we'll just have to wait to find out!

John and I have been married since April 2011. He recently graduated from the S.J. Quinney School of Law at the University of Utah, and found a job in Las Vegas. I am a stay-at-home-momma to Ruthe, obviously, but will need to find things to fill my time as she gets older and spends more and more time at school. (insert dramatically sad face!!)
